I was born and raised in Harlingen, Texas, which has given me deep roots in the community. I have more than 20 years of sales experience, with a significant focus on real estate. My extensive background has honed my ability to negotiate effectively and understand my clients’ needs.
What I enjoy most about being in real estate is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients and assist them in navigating one of the most significant decisions of their lives. My upbringing has instilled in me a strong drive and a commitment to excellence in my career.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, whether it’s enjoying a cozy night in or going fishing. One of my favorite quotes is: “This life is what you make it. No matter what, you’re going to mess up sometimes; it’s a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up.” – Marilyn Monroe. This quote resonates with me because it reminds me that while challenges are inevitable, we always have the power to shape our responses.
Richie Valdez
Sales Manager
Richie Valdez brings a wealth of experience and passion to Reyna Development & Construction. Born in Bryan College Station and a Weslaco resident for 49 years, Richie graduated from Weslaco High School in 1992 and attended three years of college at UTPA.
Richie’s career began in retail in 1996, leading to 28 years in the automotive retail industry. Throughout this journey, he wore every hat imaginable on the sales side, meeting people from all walks of life and offering them personalized service and direction. His greatest satisfaction came from helping clients find the perfect vehicle within their budget and building long-term relationships along the way.
Richie has been happily married to his beautiful wife, Amy, for 13 years, and they share a wonderful 12-year-old daughter, Kareli, a cheerleading rockstar. In his spare time, Richie enjoys family adventures, traveling, fishing, hunting, and golf.
After nearly three decades in the automotive industry, Richie is excited to embrace a new challenge in development, construction, and real estate. He lives by the quote, “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right” – Henry Ford.
